The FoilHive Fuselage connects front wing, tail wing, and mast into one foil — 6061 aluminium, 66 cm length.
What it does
The fuselage is the horizontal spine of the foil. It sets the distance between your front wing and tail wing, which directly controls pitch stability and turning behaviour. The 66 cm full-length fuselage is FoilHive's standard — tuned for balanced freeride feel.

Why 66 cm
A longer fuselage = more pitch stability and smoother glide. 66 cm is the sweet spot for most disciplines: stable enough for learning and freeride, short enough to still carve cleanly. FoilHive's 6061 aluminium construction is strong, serviceable, and cost-efficient.

Included with your subscription
Protective cover, INOX stainless steel screws & bolts kit. Full-set subscriptions also include a foil bag. A board is not included. Most riders already own one. Built, repaired, and fulfilled from FoilHive's own factory and warehouse in Tarifa, Spain — shipped across Europe.
Common questions
What length is the fuselage?
66 cm. This is the standard length pairing with our 80 cm mast and the entire wing range. Longer fuselage = more pitch stability (easier learning, smoother straight-line); shorter = quicker rotation. 66 cm is the all-round middle that suits everything we sell.
Is the fuselage compatible with all FoilHive wings?
Yes. The fuselage is built to the FoilHive template and pairs with every front wing (Osprey, Stingray, Albatros) and every tail wing (Stab range). Same goes for the mast. You can swap any wing without rethinking the fuselage.
How much does the fuselage cost on subscription?
€33/month. As with the mast, most riders subscribe to a full kit but you can subscribe to a fuselage on its own if you already own the rest of a setup.
What is the fuselage made of?
6061 aluminium, same alloy and treatment as the mast. Hardened anodised finish, INOX stainless hardware, and FoilCare cover for normal use. Returned fuselages are inspected and re-issued from our Tarifa workshop, which is the practical version of our circular-economy commitment.

FoilCare Protection
FoilCare Protection
Every membership includes FoilCare damage protection at no extra cost. Normal wear and riding damage is covered, scratches, chips, minor cracks from regular use. All repairs done in-house at our Tarifa factory.

Shipping & Swaps
We ship every Tuesday from our warehouse in Tarifa, Spain (next working day if Tuesday is a Spanish public holiday). Typical delivery 3–5 working days from dispatch. Shipping rates vary by destination and already cover your eventual return. Swap gear as your skills progress.
