The Stab 180 Glide is the efficient cousin of the Stab 180 Carve — same span, higher aspect, built for speed and pumping.

Why this size

Same 390 mm span as the Carve but AR 8.4 and 6.1 mm thickness push it toward efficiency over responsiveness. When you're pumping between wind lulls or gliding downwind, the extra aspect ratio means less power lost to drag.

Included with your subscription

Protective cover, INOX stainless steel screws & bolts kit. Full-set subscriptions also include a foil bag. A board is not included. Most riders already own one. Built, repaired, and fulfilled from FoilHive's own factory and warehouse in Tarifa, Spain — shipped across Europe.

Which front wings pair with the Stab 180 Glide?

Tail wing choice depends on the front wing's size and aspect ratio. Larger, lower-aspect front wings (Osprey 1850, 2250, Stingray 830) pair well with the larger tail wings (220, 180 Carve). Smaller, higher-aspect front wings (Albatros 860 / 1160, Osprey 550 / 750) pair with the 180 Glide for efficiency or the 145 / 130 for compact carve.

How much does the Stab 180 Glide cost on subscription?

€24/month. Tail wings sit at the same price across the Stab range so you can swap profiles without changing your monthly fee. FoilCare and free renewal shipping included.

Can I demo a different stab profile?

Yes. Stab swaps work the same as front wing swaps, request from your account, return the current stab in our prepaid label, the new one ships from Tarifa the next Tuesday.

FoilCare Protection

Every membership includes FoilCare damage protection at no extra cost. Normal wear and riding damage is covered, scratches, chips, minor cracks from regular use. All repairs done in-house at our Tarifa factory.

Shipping & Swaps

We ship every Tuesday from our warehouse in Tarifa, Spain (next working day if Tuesday is a Spanish public holiday). Typical delivery 3–5 working days from dispatch. Shipping rates vary by destination and already cover your eventual return. Swap gear as your skills progress.
